Jayden Hwang, 8, a regular museum volunteer, pulled out the first place winning ticket during the drawing for the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum’s annual “Save Our History” raffle.

The first place prize was $5,000.

The lucky winner was Nan Jacolick, who was notified of her good fortune through a voicemail message as she was not present at the time of the drawing.

Second- and third-place winners were Anne Stern and Claudia Maas, who won a Dell Inspiron 15 laptop computer (valued at $665) and a Microsoft Xbox One Day One Edition gaming system (valued at $499), respectively.
