SWERV welcomes guest speaker on dancing fiddler crabs

All women are invited to join Savvy Women Exchanging Relevant Views to hear behavioral biologist John Christy explain “What the dancing fiddler crab tells us about natural and sexual selection.”

Christy will speak at the group’s next meeting at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13 at Filipino American Hall.

Christy has spent his career doing field work in the intertidal zone adjacent to the Panama Canal as a researcher with the world-renowned Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute.
