Speaking frondly at the library

Gardening with Ferns, a five-part series, kicks off at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

The series will cover the botany, identification, gardening, and landscaping of ferns and will be presented by John van den Meerendonk, designer of the library’s Northwest Fern Garden.
