Couple plans June wedding

Emily Claire Thomas and Kyle Nathan Eaton will be married in June in Santa Barbara, Calif.

Nate and Marguerite Thomas of Bainbridge Island are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Emily Claire Thomas to Kyle Nathan Eaton, son of Kent and Jennifer Eaton of Santa Clarita, Calif.

The couple met in Montecito, Calif. while attending Westmont College in 2010.

The bride-to-be is a member of the Bainbridge High School Class of 2007, and graduated from Westmont College in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in religious studies. She is currently employed in Santa Barbara, Calif. as the director of junior and senior high ministries at Trinity Lutheran Church.

The groom-to-be is a member of the Santa Clarita High School Class of 2009, and graduated from Westmont College in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in religious studies and a minor in mathematics. He is currently pursuing his teaching credential while employed by the Santa Barbara School District as a high school math teacher.

A beachfront wedding is planned on June 29, 2013 in Santa Barbara where they will make their home.
