Open house planned at Captain Johnston Blakely Elementary

The staff at Captain Johnston Blakely Elementary will host an open house at the school from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30.

Parents can visit the school and their child’s classroom during the special event. Kindergarten and the first, second and third grades will be open for drop-in visits.

The book fair in the library will also be open from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Fourth-grade classes at Blakely will be holding special curriculum nights on other nights to be announced. Kindergarten classes will also host their art and author nights later in the year.
