BAC now taking donations of art books

January 21, 2013 · 12:35 PM

The Bainbridge Arts & Crafts Gallery is now accepting donations for its ninth annual Art Book Drive.

All books on art, architecture and design are welcomed items for the drive whether it’s a dusty art history textbook from college or a forgotten Matisse catalog. The BAC will either donate the books directly to the Bainbridge Public Library or add them to the gallery’s shelves.

No books to donate, but interested in art? The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The drive has contributed almost $11,000 for the library’s collection.
