The Bainbridge Island Studio Tour has presented $1,552 divided among two local charities.

About 80 artists contributed to the optional donation program, which involves a percent of their sales from the summer and winter studio tours. Helpline House and Stephens House were the two charities that the artists voted on earlier in 2012. The money is typically used for art supplies, art programs and general operating costs.

The studio tour celebrated its 29th anniversary this past December.
