VIP hosts 'Show and Tell' meeting Wednesday

Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Bainbridge Public Library for a VIP Show and Tell. Bring any adaptive aids that are very helpful to you, to share with others.

The group will also talk about New Year’s resolutions, and how VIPs deal with the cold and icy weather of winter.

Also, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 24, Dr. Russell Van Gelder from the University of Washington will give a community-wide talk at the library called “The Four Common Causes of Blindness: The Modern Medicine of Vision.”
