SWERV welcomes DNA expert as guest speaker

All women are invited to join Savvy Women Exchanging Relevant Views for this month’s presentation, “DNA, the New Plastics?” at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 at the Filipino American Hall.

Tera Eerkes, a founder of the island-based biotech iGenix, will discuss how the use and analysis of DNA is becoming commonplace in many realms of everyday life, from health to dating, and multiple other commercial and recreational uses.

The Filipino American Hall is located at 7566 High School Road.
