Weed Warriors look for volunteers

Weed Warriors and the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Rec District are looking for volunteers to help pull up Scotch broom seedlings at Blakely Harbor Park.

The work party is Saturday, Jan. 5. The group will meet near the old mill building 1 p.m.

The next Weed Warrior event will also be an effort to remove Scotch broom seedlings at Fay Bainbridge Park from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. Volunteers will meet at the shoreside shelter by the parking lot.
