Founder of the Compassionate Listening Project speaks at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church

“Compassionate Listening: Healing Our World from the Inside Out” with Leah Green, founder of the Compassionate Listening Project, is 12:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18 at Rolling Bay Presbyterian Church.

This curriculum has grown from her decades of reconciliation work with Israelis and Palestinians. Green’s work has been profiled in numerous books and articles; she facilitates and teaches worldwide. This experiential introduction focuses on the core practices of compassionate listening: cultivating compassion for yourself and others, suspending judgment, maintaining balance in the heat of conflict, listening with the heart and speaking from the heart.

The workshop cost is being offered at a sliding scale of $25 to $75.
