The Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

Speaker Linda Hanson, speech and communication therapist at Island Health and Rehab, will demonstrate how an iPad can be set up to help stroke victims with communication.

The iPad can also be set up with speech enhancement as well as font enlarging, making it great for VIPs. Hanson’s iPad is a lower cost item with special program set-ups for all kinds of different special needs.
