Bainbridge 4-H club celebrates great year

Hare Raisers, Etc. — the Bainbridge Island 4-H Club — had a very successful year at the Kitsap County and Puyallup state fairs.

Overall, the local club won multiple trophies and ribbons in such 4-H projects as dogs, poultry, gardening, art and foods.

In addition to the Kitsap and Puyallup fairs, local 4-H’ers will be sponsoring the Bainbridge Island Farmers Market’s annual poultry pageant on Saturday, Oct. 6.

Youth interested in joining Hare Raisers, Etc. can attend the club’s new members meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 at the Grange Hall or contact the club at sgleason815@gmail.com.
