Bainbridge student earns WWU scholarship

Lincoln Michael Connor, a senior at Western Washington University and daughter of Steve and Denise Connor of Bainbridge Island, received a $5,000 Oscar Edwin Sciences Scholarship Endowment for the 2012-2013 academic year.

The Oscar Edwin Sciences Scholarship is awarded to students in Western’s College of Sciences and Technology who are children of single, divorced or widowed parents.

Connor graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2009 and has a 3.6 GPA.

He has plans to become a medical physicist after graduating from Western in the spring of 2013 with a degree in physics and astronomy.
