Islander earns WWU scholarship

Western Washington University student Miles Cameron Bludorn, son of Greg and Kim Bludorn of Bainbridge Island, has accepted a $1,000 Alumni Association Leader Scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year.

The Alumni Association Leader Scholarship is intended for either full-time Western students, high school students intending planning to become a full-time Western student or a college transfer who is to become a full-time Western student. Applicants must have a 3.1 GPA or, if in high school, a 3.5 GPA.

Bludorn graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2009 and has a 3.67 GPA.
