Visually Impaired Persons Support Group welcomes guest speaker

Independent living specialist Kate Hilbert with the Department of Services for the Blind will hold a low vision information presentation at the next meeting for the Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 11 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

She’ll cover common causes of vision impairments, treatments and preventative care to decrease their progression, as well as common myths about low vision. Plus, she will share giving low vision tips for dealing with daily living tasks.
