Dameron earns scholarship from WWU

Western Washington University student Elizabeth Alyse Dameron, the daughter of Brian and Debra Dameron of Bainbridge Island, has accepted a $1,000 Special Education Intern Scholarship and a $1,500 Horn Teacher Education Scholarship for the 2012-2013 academic year.

The SPED Intern Scholarship is awarded to students majoring in Special Education and in good standing.

The Horn Teacher Scholarship is intended for a future teacher of Special Education, Mathematics and Science.

Dameron graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2006 and the University of Washington in 2010. She has a 3.98 GPA and is dual majoring in elementary education and K-12 special education.
