VIP Book Group looks at Pulitzer Prize-winning book

The VIP (visually impaired persons) Book Group will meet at 2 p.m. Friday, July 6 at the Bainbridge Public Library to discuss “The Hemingses of Monticello: An American Family" by Annette Gordon-Read.
This is the legendary story of the Hemingses of Monticello, an American slave family with direct blood ties to President Thomas Jefferson. The book won the 2008 National Book Award for nonfiction and the 2009 Pulitzer Prize in history.
The group uses audio books from the Washington Talking Books and Braille Library.
