Three sisters, three diplomas.

The Montoya sisters graduated from Seattle University at commencement on June 10.

Elizabeth J. Montoya, a 2003 Bainbridge High School graduate, will receive a master’s degree in teaching. She will be teaching first grade at the American School Foundation in Mexico City in August.

Adrienne J. Montoya, a 2007 BHS graduate, will receive a bachelor of arts degree in finance and a bachelor of arts in international business and a minor in French. She is in the process of taking her CFA Level 1 test and is looking for a full-time finance position.

Lindsey A. Montoya, a 2007 BHS graduate, will receive a bachelor of science degree in biology/pre-med with a minor in French. She is currently working at Starbucks on Mercer Island and plans to attend graduate school in the fall of 2013 to study genetic counseling.

All three graduates are daughters of Molly King Montoya, and the granddaughters of longtime island educators Ed and Iris King.
