Food, fun and more at the farmers market

The Bainbridge Island Farmers Market is open in town square from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.

The market is in full swing with fresh asparagus, rhubarb, carrots, beets, radishes, spinach, salad mixes, arugula, leeks and more. Crafts include wood sculpture, glass art, metal-work, hand-made jewelry, birdhouses and more.

The market also offers chef demos, food booths, live music and family fun.
