Five students from Bainbridge Island have been named to Western Washington University’s honor roll for winter quarter.

The outstanding scholars are Lincoln Connor, Whitney Fleming, Elliott Swanson, Sophie Wenzlau and Sarafina Crowell.

To qualify for the honor roll, students must complete at least 14 graded credit hours during a quarter and be in the top 10 percent of their class.

The university said Crowell also earned distinction with a  4.0 grade point average.
