Authors of bird book speak at Kitsap Audubon Society meeting

The Kitsap Audubon Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 10 at the Poulsbo Library.

Craig and Joy Johnson will present the program "Birding Whidbey Island."

Using Craig's colorful, close-up bird photos, maps and graphics, they will provide birding tips and show some of the birds found in these locations.

This is Audubon's last meeting until September.

The annual awards ceremony and program is at 7 p.m.; the annual potluck dinner is 5:30 p.m. (Bring a main dish, dessert or salad to share and your own place settings.Soft drinks, tea and coffee will be provided.)
