Bainbridge author speaks at next SWERV meeting

Join Savvy Women Exchanging Relevant View to hear Kathleen Alcala, Bainbridge author and 2010 Island Treasure recipient talk about “Everyone Has a History” from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 8 at the Filipino American Hall, 7566 High School Road.

Alcala will cover tips on research for historical fiction, aspects of culture and language to keep in mind and the women will each get a chance to try a hand at exploring the past.
