Vince Larson took home a new iPad Wednesday after the Fletcher Bay-area resident was named the winner in the Bainbridge Island Review’s subscription drive giveaway.

Larson recalled his surprise at being the big winner. He had been talking with his wife about getting an iPad just before he heard that he was the winner in the contest.

“We were talking about it as the phone rang,” he laughed. “It was a good surprise.”
