This year's Native Plant Sale, a Bainbridge Island Land Trust Earth Day tradition, offers a variety of native plants. Shoppers can see a list of the nursery-grade plants that help attract wildlife, reduce room for invasive plants and help native plants thrive, by visiting www.bi-landtrust.org.

People can pre-order plants by March 30 using the online form and pick them up during the Native Plant Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 21, at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church, on the corner of Winslow Way and Madison Avenue.

Whether customers reserve plants ahead or choose from what is available at the Native Plant Sale, purchases support the work of Bainbridge Island Land Trust.

Anyone interested in volunteering either the day before, Friday, April 20, or during the event, Saturday, April 21, can contact Jonnie at jonnie@bi-landtrust.org or at 842-1216.
