Eagle Harbor participates in World Book Night

The deadline for “World Book Night,” a national program in which Eagle Harbor is participating, has been extended to Feb. 6. Designed to spread the love of reading, the program gives selected participants 20 books they must give away to people in the community who do not have a passion for reading, have little or no access to books, or even just strangers. The books, chosen from a list of 30, will be distributed April 23. For more information, visit
