Soup’r Burger has announced the location where it intends to flip its all organic, grass-fed patties for hungry islanders.

The coming soup-and-burger restaurant will set up shop in the Pavilion on Madison Avenue in the space where Local Harvest formerly operated. Owners of the new business said the location is ideal for people who want to get a bite before or after a movie at the cinema located across the hall.

Soup’r Burger is a venture by island entrepreneur Josh Bortman, also known as a co-owner of Pretty Stick.

The burger joint will specialize in organic and natural ingredients prepared fresh. Bortman has described it as a classic, all-American burger joint.

The restaurant is scheduled to open its doors on Halloween night, Oct. 31.

A Kickstarter page has been set up to help raise funds in order to spruce up the place. Soup’r Burger is offering a range of products and services in exchange for island donors who give to the cause.
