The next BASE lecture will be an evening of conversation with exceptional leadership in green buildings, corporate sustainability and eco-efficiency across supply chains in apparel and footwear.

Letitia Ferrier Webster, senior global director of corporate sustainability at VF Corporation, will be the guest speaker. The lecture is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 11 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

Implementing large scale sustainability in apparel and footwear can be a daunting task. With international supply chains that touch every corner of the world, the challenge often feels too large to tackle, perhaps too ambitious. But in a sector where leadership, business and sustainability are critical for healthy environments and social justice, some pioneers take the challenge and break conventional standards with innovation and collaboration.

Snacks and refreshments will be provided. RSVP for at https://BASEapparelinnovations.eventbrite.com.
