Pastiche leaves downtown home

After 18 years on Winslow Way, Pastiche has closed its doors.

“I’m grateful to all of our regular, loyal costumers that have been with us throughout the years,” said owner John Benaxas.

The space is now empty where downtown Winslow’s antique shop has been peddling rare prizes for nearly two decades. Its current owner, Benaxas, has been operating it for almost four years, but has had difficulty giving it the attention it needs.

“I tried really hard to get somebody to take the shop over,” Benaxas said.

He wasn’t able to find anyone to take on the job, however.

While Pastiche has left its home in Winslow, it will continue in another form elsewhere. Benaxas plans to continue offering antique goods in a new shop in Bellevue.
