Bainbridge’s Best Western hotel has earned kudos all the way from the top.

The Best Western Plus Bainbridge Island Suites has received the Best Western Chairman’s Award, the hotel chain’s highest honor for outstanding quality standards.

The Chairman’s Award recognizes Best Western International hotels with a cleanliness and maintenance inspection score in the top 5 percent of more than 2,100 North American properties. Hotels must also meet Best Western’s requirements for design and high customer service scores to qualify for the award.

“Receiving the Chairman’s Award from Best Western is a tremendous honor,” said Linda Thurrott, general manager of the island hotel. “This award demonstrates the Best Western Plus Bainbridge Island Suites management’s commitment to providing quality accommodations for our guests. Our housekeeping and maintenance departments have worked hard to achieve this level of excellence.”

Located at 350 NE High School Road, Bainbridge’s Best Western features 51 rooms, free parking, free continental breakfast, and fitness and business centers.

The big award was just the latest in a number of achievements for the Bainbridge Best Western.

Best Western Plus Bainbridge Island Suites was also recently recognized as a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame winner.

The Certificate of Excellence award celebrates excellence in hospitality and is given to establishments that consistently achieve great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor. The “Hall of Fame” was created to honor businesses that have earned a Certificate of Excellence for five consecutive years. Winners include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a superior customer experience.

“There is no greater seal of approval than being recognized by one’s customers,” Thurrott said. “With the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence based on customer reviews, the accolade is a remarkable vote of confidence to our business and our continued commitment to excellence.”
