Hendler recertified

Dr. Jared M. Hendler, a family physician on Bainbridge Island, was recertified last month by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Hendler has been in the practice for 35 years and currently works at 231 Madison Avenue with Dr. Gregory E. Keyes. He graduated from the University of California and undertook his residency at the UCLA Medical Center.

Hendler was required to complete 300 hours of medical education over the past six years, have a full license to practice medicine in the United States, and complete a full-day examination covering a vast array of family medicine-related topics such as care of children, older patients, mental behavior and surgical patients.
