The co-founder of Avalara recently took home a top-notch award in a May 7 ceremony.

Scott McFarlane, CEO of Avalara, was named CEO of the Year at the prestigious Pacific Northwest IT industry awards. The company was also a nominee for the Next Tech Titan award.

Winners were determined by online voting.

McFarlane co-founded the company in 2004 and is responsible for the vision and strategic direction of the company.
