The Bainbridge Island Downtown Association is kicking off 2013 by getting a makeover.
The island's Main Street program has revamped its website.
Its website, www.bainbridgedowntown.org, boasts a sleek, modern design. The new website is not only fit for a desktop, but also portable devices such as tablets and smart phones.
"The new site ... will make it quick and easy for visitors and locals to find the best places to eat, drink, shop, stay and play, from smart phones, iPads, notebooks, and conventional computers," said downtown association director Andie Mackin.
"We know that an overwhelming number of local searches come directly from iPhones and iPads, so this will make the information incredibly easy to access, just like a local guide book," she said.
New features include an intricate walkabout guide and a business directory for Winslow.
