Method Homes, a custom builder of prefabricated, green homes, has finished the installation of their first home on Bainbridge Island.

The modular, two-story, 1,400-square-foot, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home was designed by Group Architect. It was delivered to the island 85 percent complete and was craned into place on NE Ewing Street on Aug. 16.

The project including salvaged and reclaimed materials, electric heated floors, metal roofing and prewiring for solar power.

Method Homes is located in Seattle, and the company's factory is located in Ferndale.
