A cheer rose through the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal. Their ship had finally come in.
The Bainbridge Island to Seattle ferry route will resume two-boat service with the 5:20 a.m. Wednesday, July 30 sailing from Bainbridge, according to Washington State Ferries.
The ferry MV Tacoma docked at Bainbridge Island with the help of two tugboats approximately two hours later than anticipated Tuesday afternoon, after losing propulsion power during the 12:20 p.m. sailing from Seattle.
With service on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle ferry route down to one boat, Washington State Ferries has announced the remaining sailings planned for Tuesday, July 29.
The ferry MV Tacoma slowly made its way into Eagle Harbor by 3 p.m. Tuesday with the help of two tugboats.
