Three names will be on the Primary Election ballot for the Director 1 position on the Bainbridge Island School Board, but one of those in the race is now urging voters to pick one of the other candidates.

Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to expect an estimated two-hour wait at the Bainbridge terminal for a boat to Seattle.

The annual Bainbridge Island Boaters Fair returned to downtown Winslow. A celebration of all things aquatic, the fair featured Coast Guard, fire department and police vessels and safety demonstrations as well as canoes and kayak rentals, a “Stand Up Paddleboard Joust” and “Canoe Tug-of-War.”
